God loves to communicate with people and desires a unique and special relationship with everyone of us. Living close to His heart, we become sensitive to His voice and thus, we are able to receive revelation for ourselves, but also for the others. And it is worth living a life under His guidance! This course is a practical answer to the questions many of us have: How does God speak? How to hear the voice of God? How to receive personal revelation? and many more. Module 1 – The character of the prophetic gift: When we speak about prophecy, it’s all about the Holy Spirit, who has many functions, mostly the function of revelation. He first wants to reveal who the Father is, who Jesus is and who we are in God’s eyes, together with His plans for our life. He also gives us revelation for the others, to encourage them. Prophecy is inspired by God and it comes fresh and new from His heart, in different forms, having an intuitive character. Module 2 – Purifying the prophetic: How can I be sure it’s God and not my own thoughts? The most important distinction between true and false or wrong prophecy is my motivation as a prophet. Then, I must be aware of the neutrality of prophecy and exclude contamination with emotional compassion, indignation, prejudice, pre-knowledge, manipulation, influence of people and doctrinal prejudices. Also, prophetic words should be tested by other prophets, by the church or by the person who receives them. And beyond all these, every prophet must operate within his mandate, knowing its extensions and limitations. Module 3 – Hearing the voice of God for yourself: It’s much harder to receive revelation for yourself, because it’s hard to get a neutral attitude towards yourself. Hearing the voice of God is not about selfishness, it is about honouring and loving Him and allowing Him to tell you what He thinks about you. There are several pre-conditions to hear the voice of God for yourself. First of all, you need to search God for a relation, for communication, not for information, for answers. Secondly, you need to surrender your will, your wishes. Also, there are several ways in which you can hear the voice of God for yourself and all are based on faith: direct prophetic words, prophetic writing, visions. And in the end, the result of all these is a lifestyle full of His presence.
